Begin in the capital with a relaxing sunset cruise, a taste of Cambodian cuisine, and an introduction to the country’s recent history. Fly to Siem Reap and experience authentic countryside life by Lady Tuk Tuk before exploring the magnificent temples of Angkor. Witness the sunrise at Angkor Wat, discover the atmospheric Ta Prohm and ancient Angkor Thom, and finish your journey with a memorable Cambodian dinner and traditional Apsara dance performance.

Day 01 — Welcome to Cambodia

Arrive in Phnom Penh, where you will be warmly welcomed by our Tour Guide and transferred to your hotel.

In the late afternoon, join us for a sunset boat cruise and enjoy beautiful views of Phnom Penh from the water. Drinking water, soft drinks, and beer will be available on board.

After the cruise, enjoy your first-night dinner in Cambodia, included as part of your journey.

Day 02 — Cambodia’s History & Free Evening

After breakfast, visit Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21) and Choeung Ek Genocidal Center (Killing Fields) to learn about Cambodia’s difficult recent history.

In the afternoon, enjoy some free time or choose an optional Cyclo experience to explore Phnom Penh from a local perspective. You may also visit the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda.

Tonight is free for you to relax, enjoy the local food, or experience Phnom Penh’s nightlife at your own pace.

Day 03 — Fly to Siem Reap & Discover Local Life

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap.

Upon arrival, meet your local guide and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, experience the Siem Reap countryside by Lady Tuk Tuk.

Travel beyond the city and discover traditional villages, rural landscapes, and everyday Cambodian life while meeting local people and learning how tourism creates opportunities for the community.

Day 04 — Angkor Wat Sunrise, Ancient Temples & Apsara Dinner

Wake up early this morning for a magical sunrise at Angkor Wat. After sunrise, explore the magnificent temple and discover its remarkable architecture, carvings, and history.

In the afternoon, continue your Angkor adventure with Ta Prohm, famous for its ancient trees and atmospheric ruins, followed by Angkor Thom, the former royal capital of the Khmer Empire, including the remarkable Bayon Temple.

In the evening, enjoy a delicious Cambodian dinner accompanied by a traditional Apsara dance performance.

Day 05 — Farewell Cambodia

Enjoy your final morning at leisure until it is time for your transfer to the airport for your departure flight.

IMPORTANT INFO

Domestic flight: The itinerary includes a flight from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap. Please bring your passport for the flight.
Early morning: Day 4 starts very early for the Angkor Wat sunrise, so a good night’s rest is recommended.
Walking & temples: Expect walking on uneven surfaces and climbing some temple steps. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
Temple dress code: Please dress respectfully by covering your shoulders and knees when visiting the temples.
Weather: Cambodia is generally warm and can be humid. Bring sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and comfortable clothing.
Historical sites: The visits to S21 and Choeung Ek cover Cambodia’s tragic recent history and can be an emotional experience. Please approach these sites with respect.
Lady Tuk Tuk experience: This is a local and community-focused experience. You will travel through the countryside and see everyday life beyond the main tourist areas.
Sunset cruise: Drinking water, soft drinks, and beer are included during the sunset cruise.
Free evenings: Some evenings are free for you to enjoy Phnom Penh or Siem Reap at your own pace. Your Tour Leader can provide recommendations.
Apsara evening: Day 4 includes a Cambodian dinner and traditional Apsara dance performance.
Luggage: Please keep your luggage within the airline’s permitted baggage allowance for the domestic flight.
